The Information Meeting for 2025-26 was held November 21, 2024 at 6 pm.

• Apply for the 2025-26 school year.

1. In-district applicants who have a sibling enrolled at the requested school.
2. In-district applicants who reside in Alameda.
3. Students who reside within Alameda.
4. All other applicants.

We highly encourage interested students to come to ASTI for a half-day (8:15 am - 12:30 pm) Student Shadow visit.  This half day will give them a taste of the life, culture, and learning at ASTI on a typical school day, as well as give them an opportunity to meet and talk to current students.

ASTI will enroll 55 students into the 9th grade class and 10th and 11th grade transfers as spots become available. Should more than 60 students apply and be eligible for enrollment, a lottery is held to allocate positions in the freshman class and determine the order of the waitlist. The lottery process is differentiated by math level to ensure balanced class sizes.
